Matt is an American Society of Association Executives-Certified Association Executive with a decade of experience serving multiple trade associations and nonprofit foundations in the physician, commercial real estate, and business industries. Matt prides himself on encouraging association leaders to address the challenges of today by letting go of the ‘we've always done it this way’ mindset and instead embrace a 'we've never tried it this way' approach.

As the inaugural Chair of the California Society of Anesthesiologists Foundation and a former physician leader of its annual House of Delegates Meeting, I had the pleasure of working closely with Matthew during his tenure on CSA's senior staff leadership team.
In 2019, his leadership, creativity, and forward-thinking approach were crucial in developing CSA's first-ever virtual House of Delegates Meeting, providing a framework for its continued success during the Covid pandemic.​
His professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to excel under pressure were instrumental not just in the seamless organization and execution of these demanding, complex physician governance meetings, but in the stewardship of our society overall.
